| ** Our thanks to the many great teams from Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio, Oregon, Illinois, Georgia, Missouri, Arkansas, Virginia, Florida, Alabama, Indiana, California, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee & Mississippi and all the attending college coaches for making our exposure tournaments such a success for all involved! |
| Great field of teams and a wonderful turnout of coaches... Several of our kids have already been contacted by coaches! Rodney Threatt, Lady Blues N.C. Our team has placed over 26 girls over the last 3 years into college softball scholarships. Most of them as a direct result of the Gold Diamond National Exposure Tournaments. This past fall in Chattanooga, even though it was cold, was very successful as we had several players received offers and accepted to D1 and D2 schools from TN, SC & GA. by far one of the best showcases put on with a very family/friendly staff. I would recommend this event to anyone who is looking to get exposure and want to play softball in college. Mike Borak, Tampa HeatWave Borak 18u Nine of my players have received D1 scholarships as a result of contacts made at your tournaments. Cliff Litchfield, South FL Mini Bulls We heard it from everyone ... one of the biggest tournaments around with a lot of coaches. Coach Tim Stone, Oklahoma Tuff-E-Nuff ... what a great tournament you put on this past weekend in Chattanooga. It could not have been better. A lot of guys talk about college coaches showing up but rarely have them in the numbers that you had. John Cook, GA Academy Power Red KISSIMMEE ...you run the best tournaments around. The communication during the rainout, the rescheduling of games, the fairness in making sure every team had at least 5 games are all things important to a coach. Ken Wetherington, Florida Pride ... the venue (renovated Warner Park) was outstanding. Most of the teams got to play a game in Frost Stadium which is one of the nicest facilities in the country. The showcase had a strong following of SEC, ACC, OVC and SoCan coaches, along with D-2s. We expect this to become the premier showcase event on this date in the Southeast. David Fannin of Diamond NET put on a great tournament and was very responsive. He is a long-time travel ball coach out of Tallahassee and we think his series of showcases will be a big success in the South. www.Spysoftball.com The DI schools that were represented were some of the nation's best. Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Georgia Southern, Tennessee Chattanooga, North Carolina State and a host of other DI schools that normally don't get a chance to see our girls. That alone makes this tournament a must for any team trying to get exposure. www.game-ex.com forum As far as colleges go ... they were everywhere. To add to your list ... I saw Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Southern Illinois, Miami of Ohio, Belmont, Elon and a host of others that I can't remember. And this was with Saturday being completely rained out! www.game-ex.com forum Have you had a chance to look at the 18U team field for the "Chattanooga Gold Diamond Showcase" ? It is stacked with the best that Georgia, Alabama & Florida have to offer!!! I see that Ohio will be represented by ... OFC - Ohio Fastpitch Connection |
